Hey, I'm Matt -
I've been playing piano since I was 6 years old. I've always lived in North Van, and I studied classical piano for 11 years. I graduated from the Jazz program at Cap U, and now am touring with Matt Grinke's 'The Happiest Big Band on Earth'. I'm also a musical theatre fan .... I've been an actor, an orchestra musician, a crew member, a musical director, and an arranger. You can find me every Sunday at our awesomely musical Sunday experience, and most Fridays at Friday Night Live, our hugely popular musical gathering, hosted by my brother, Joel. I am so proud to have all these years of 'matinee experiences' with LVUC .... I know that music takes people to a different part of their brain, and I"m honoured to share my love of music with diverse groups of people!
